Also, who can forget the pier where tourist and locals love to dive from! With its lively atmosphere and postcard-worthy views, Playa Crash Boat is a true gem of Puerto Rico's west coast.

• Playa Flamenco: No list of Puerto Rico's top beaches would be complete without a nod to the iconic Playa Flamenco on the island of Culebra.
